Lyra Capital invests globally across all sectors and follows a value-based investment philosophy. Its goal is to build concentrated portfolios of 15 to 30 positions designed to generate strong absolute returns with moderate risk.
Since 2025, Mr. Lu has served as CIO and founder of Lyra Capital Management Group GmbH, based in Walldorf.
Mr. Lu brings extensive experience from his 11-year tenure as a portfolio manager at Shareholder Value Management AG. Prior to that, he worked at a Munich-based family office with a strong focus on value investing. Earlier in his career, Mr. Lu gained practical business experience as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co.
He holds an MBA from London Business School and a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University. Mr. Lu is also the author of the book *Inside the Investments of Warren Buffett: 20 Cases*, which offers in-depth insights into the investment strategies of the renowned investor.
